Terms of use

Last updated 1 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Cooklee. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Cooklee.

Who can use Cooklee

You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, get permission from a parent or guardian first.

What’s not allowed

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post, say or do anything that:

How we handle reports

You can report any Bite, comment or account, and block anyone, from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms and may suspend or permanently remove the accounts responsible, without notice.

Your content

You own what you post. You give Cooklee a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, process and share it in the app and to promote Cooklee, including using AI to turn it into recipes. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already shared it or we must keep it by law. Only post content you have the right to share.

AI features

Recipe Replay and Ask are generated by AI and can be wrong. Always check ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures and food safety yourself, especially if you have an allergy. Don’t rely on them for medical or dietary advice.

Cooking safely

You’re responsible for how you cook and what you eat. Follow any recipe at your own risk.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, Delete account.

Our responsibility

We provide Cooklee as it is and can change or stop features at any time. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law, or our liability for anything that can’t legally be limited. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for what other users post.

Apple

If you downloaded Cooklee from the App Store, this agreement is with Cooklee, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as third-party beneficiaries.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above and tell you about important changes. To report a problem or ask a question, email asahwells@gmail.com.
